The “plain language standard” is one all communicators should strive for: the audience must be able to understand it the first time they read or hear it.
Martin wrote a freelance article for the leading national magazine about the equestrian sport of dressage. The article has been widely shared on social media and was one of the most-read stories on the magazine’s website.

In 2004 and 2006, Martin helped the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School craft compelling messages as they sought and secured needed funding for expansion of their undergraduate programming. Media hits included several front-page business section stories, metro section coverage in both papers, a business forum column, editorial mention and TV.
